The All Progressives Congress Caretaker Committee has paid a courtesy visit to the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of its consultative efforts to build the party and reposition it.
Yobe State Governor and Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Mai Mala Buni on Thursday led members of the committee to the former governor of Lagos state.
According to Buni’s spokesperson, Mamman Mohammed, the meeting was in a bid to chart a new course for the party.
“Those in attendance include Kebbi state Governor and chairman Progressives Governors Forum Sen. Abubakar Bagudu, Niger state Governor, Alh. Abubakar S. Bello and Lagos state Governor Babajide San-Olu,” he disclosed.
The Committee, had earlier met former interim Chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande. The APC was thrown into leadership crisis following the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiohmole as the National Chairman and the endorsement of Victor Giadom as Acting National Chairman for two weeks by a court.
