Kwara State pupils sit Common Entrance October 31

Kwara State government has rescheduled the cancelled Common Entrance examination to Saturday, October 31, according to a release from Yakub Aliagan, Press Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.

The general examination, previously slated for last Saturday, did not take place following unforeseen attacks on public and private property in the state by a mob of looters, causing public disturbance and fears.

“The Common Entrance Examination that was earlier slated for Saturday 24th October, 2020 which was postponed due to unrest in the state will now hold on Saturday 31st October, 2020 across the state,” Commissioner for Education, Hajiah Fatimah Bisola Ahmed said in a meeting with education stakeholders.

She enjoined parents and guardians to prepare their wards for the forthcoming examination and also wish the pupils hitch free examination.
