Kwara United handler, Abdullahi Biffo has expressed his confidence going into matchday two encounter when they welcome eight-time Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enyimba F.C of Aba on Sunday, in Ilorin township Stadium.
The Harmony boys saw off an ever irresistible Plateau United to kick start the new season. The Afonja Warriors came back from Plateau with maximum points where they defeated the defending champions by two goals to nil. But the match against Enyimba this weekend will serve as a litmus test for the team.

“We will do all our best to get all the three available points on our pitch because without doing that, our efforts of winning an away game would have been wasted,” Biffo told newsmen.

“We know the sort of threat that Enyimba will likely pose, and we are ready for them and equal to the task, anything but three points will not be accepted.”

The People’s Elephant has played more competitive games than any other team in the Nigeria Professional Football League due to their involvement in the CAF champions league.

Meanwhile, Biffo nods off any disadvantages for his team even though they have not been involved in a competitive match for a while.

“I don’t think that will be an advantage for them. We defeated Plateau who had also played games in the CAF Champions League, if we could beat them in their own home, then I don’t think it will be an advantage for them. The best team will win in 90 minutes. We are not scared of them because they play on the continent,” he concluded.
