National Association of Nigerian Students, Kwara state axis elected new executive yesterday at the convention that took place at NUJ, Ilorin.
According to the communique released by the Convention planning committee, Kwara state Axis, one Comrade Babatunde from Kwara State Polytechnic who was supposed to be a contestant for the seat of the chairman was lawfully disqualified due to his lack of sportsmanship behavior after he had threatened to stop the convention. The disqualification of the said aspirant narrowed the competition of the chairmanship slot between Comrade Saleeman Yusuf Issah from the University of Ilorin and Comrade Abdulbashit from Kwara State University Malete, in a contest which delivered the former as the NANS 001 in Kwara state.
