Hajiah Sa’adatu Modibbo-Kawu and Mr. Saba Yisa Gideon, both of whom are commissioner-nominees, have been scheduled to appear before the Kwara State House of Assembly Thursday June 3, according to a copy of the plenary proceedings of the Assembly held June 1.
Modibbo-Kawu and Saba are outstanding commissioner-nominees who have not been screened and confirmed by the Assembly.
While Kawu was named in the first list sent to the Assembly by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Saba was named in a later list as a replacement for Saba Margaret whose name featured in the second list.
Both nominees have however not appeared at the Assembly for confirmation.
Kawu is the commissioner-nominee from Ilorin South; while Saba represents Edu local government.
With a date slated for their appearance however, the clerk to the Assembly has been directed to inform them accordingly.
