Pastor TB Joshua dies in Lagos

Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua is dead, The Ravens NG learnt from multiple sources.

Popularly known as TB Joshua, he founded the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) and was renowned as a televangelist.

Sources said the preacher who was aged 57 died in Lagos Saturday evening shortly after concluding a programme at his church.

The SCOAN has also confirmed the death of the popular preacher in a message that partly reads: “God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.

“Prophet TB Joshua leaves a legacy of service and sacrifice to God’s Kingdom that is living for generations yet unborn.

“The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations and Emmanuel TV Family appreciate your love, prayers and concern at this time and request a time of privacy for the family.”

Also confirming his death, former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode who had initially dismissed the news as fake wrote: “The passing of my brother TB Joshua saddens me deeply. At 3.00 am this morning, I was told by one of his daughters that this was fake news and I tweeted as much.

”Sadly, I was misled. 5 minutes ago the same person called me and confirmed the story. @GazetteNGR was right and I am in pain.”

A media top gun, Dele Momodu also posted, “Good night my very dear friend and brother, Pastor Temitope Balogun. Rest in Peace.”
