I’m in my house at Ibadan – Igboho dismisses arrest story

Controversial Yoruba Nation apologist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has dismissed insinuations that he was arrested by officials of the Department of State Security (DSS).

Igboho who described the reports as falsehood said he was back at his residence in Ibadan days after DSS officials invaded his house to arrest him.

Reports had Friday night said the chief had been arrested by security agents in his hideout at Sat Guru Mahara ji alongside a man touted to be his “herbalist”.

During a live programme on Facebook by his media aide, Olayomi Koiki, however, Igboho in a voice message played debunked the reports, thanking all his supporters.

“I thank you all my supporters. Today is July 2, 2021 and I heard that they (security agents) have arrested me at Guru Maharaji, It is a lie. I am in my house in Ibadan,” he said.
