The open space of Adeta Primary School “A” was vacant on Saturday, July 10, 2021, due to the obstruction caused by the aggrieved youth of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adewole ward, the home of governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The hours of 5 pm to 6 pm of every Saturday is designed for Adewole APC ward meeting at the school, but there was a new development at the meeting venue yesterday.

The Ravens NG’s correspondent gathered that some aggrieved youth had issued a warning to party members not to attend the weekly meeting scheduled for July 10.

In an effort by this correspondent to get to the roots of the stern warning issued by the aggrieved youth, an executive of Adewole APC Youth Wing who craved anonymity said that “It’s very true that His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been doing tremendously well in state affairs. Not even his traducers would say otherwise. But it’s a thing of sorrow that we, as members of his community, haven’t had the best of opportunities to present our cases before him.

“From outside, people thought we are having it rosy and fulfilled. It was never our intention to speak in this language but the fact that we have explored all the available means to have a session with the Governor, which has never yielded any result,” the source said.

It was also learnt that the Governor has, over the years, depended on one single individual in Adewole, thinking that the said person has got the keys to the hearts of other community members.

“One of the undoings of the Governor is that he has trusted the fate of all Adewolites in the hand of an individual. That’s so bad. Worst still, this individual hasn’t been representing his image well. And this is the exact reason we weren’t shocked when this particular individual has been blocking every session we had been hoping to have with His excellency,” the source noted.

The source also reiterated the threat of the youth that they were not going to allow the weekly ward meeting to take place in the community until the Governor attends to their yearnings.

He, therefore, prayed for his success in office, saying that they will only be vindicated if the Governor succeed.
