Visit Kwara seeks ministry’s support in attracting tourism to state

Members of the Visit Kwara have met with the Kwara State Ministry of Communications, Culture and Tourism, rubbing minds together on the vision of making the state a go-to place for tourism.

The Visit Kwara team said they are currently working on documenting several tourist centers across the 16 local government areas of the state.

They sought the support of the ministry in their efforts to place Kwara on the global map and help position it as a haven of tourism and hospitality in the country.

The meeting which held in the first week of August had in attendance Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Communications, Culture and Tourism, Hajia Rabiat Mopelola AbdulRahman; Director, Culture and Tourism, Hajia M.T Mustapha.

Others are Deputy Director, Culture and Tourism; Hajia Faruk Sarouk; Principal Cultural Officer, Mr. Taiwo Olugbenga; Principal Tourism Officer, Mr. K. Sulaiman and Tourism Officer II, Mr. Adeyemi Adebayo Hafeez.

The ministry pledged their support, guidance and dedication towards the #VisitKwara project to position the state as a haven of tourism development.

The Visit Kwara team expressed their profound gratitude to the ministry for the warm reception and for giving the youths the opportunity to contribute their own quota towards the development of the state.
