Reno Omokri, former Special Assistant to the erstwhile President Goodluck Jonathan has criticized the defection of the former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode and accused him of betraying the Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho Oosa), and his Biafran counterpart, Nnamdi Kanu.
He made this allegation in a series of tweets while reacting to the return of Fani-Kayode to APC.
Fani-Kayode who made it known that he was led by the holy spirit to defect to the ruling party was received into APC by President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday in the State House, Abuja.
The former aviation minister had also on several occasions celebrated his friendship with Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu, and faulted the Federal Government’s actions against the activists.
Reno wondered why FFK rejoined the same APC he had attacked and faulted for prosecuting Kanu and Igboho. He, however, attributed the former minister as “Judas Iscariot.”
He said that former Senator Shehu Sanni’s return to PDP is valuable than losing FFK.
“You say you are a friend of Sunday Igboho. You called him your brother. You called Nnamdi Kanu your “friend and brother” and one of the most courageous persons you know.
“You see what this demon in human flesh is doing to these freedom fighters, yet you do this? It makes me suspicious.
“How can these two people who were close to you and who confided in you, end up in Buhari’s trap, and then you join his party? This looks like 30 pieces of silver! At this point, I would very much hate to be your friend and brother.”
