Yesterday, Beki Mashood Abdulquadri (BMA) was at the Islamic Orphanage Foundation, Adewole Estate, Ilorin, Kwara State, to celebrate with the motherless children on his birthday.

BMA, as he is fondly called by friends and associates, is an entrepreneur and CEO of Beauty Plus Interiors and Exteriors Nigeria Limited, and also a youth leader from Alanamu in Ilorin West Local Government Area whose impacts in community development cannot be overemphasised.

Speaking with The Ravens NG’s correspondent, Abdulquadri, made it known that his interest in community development can be traced back to his formative years when elders from his community were the frontrunners in encouraging youths to engage in community development services.

He stated that painting and paint making is a business he saw his grandfather and father doing while growing up, and this brought about Beauty Plus Interiors and Exteriors Nigeria Limited.

“As a youth from Alanamu community in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, it was a hurricane task amidst thick and thin, but we thank God for bestowing on us good elders that shaped our minds towards impacting our community positively, and this grew my interest in community development.

“It is never an easy task to be an entrepreneur in this part of the world where there are no accessible funds to boost the business, the hustle and struggle every small business suffers is real.

“Although painting and paint making is like a family business because growing up, that is what I met my father indulged in, and I’ve fallen in love with it since I was a young boy.

“As I celebrate this year’s birthday at the Islamic Orphanage Foundation, all things being equal, in subsequent years, I pray to Allah in His infinite mercy to count me among the biggest donors,” said BMA.
