National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Kwara Axis, under the watch of Comrade Saleeman Yusuf Issah AAT, ACA has today staged A-Day mentorship program in an attempt to groom and equip top ten finalists of AGF Abdulrazaq Entrepreneurship Contest.
The mentorship session which was held at AGF Entrepreneurship Hub, Sango Area, Ilorin had in attendance successful entrepreneurs and resource persons who intimate the students on how to set a successful business and manage challenges.
The guest speakers are Mr. Olasupo Opeyemi Abideen, CEO Opab Gas; Pastor Omotayo F. J., CEO TopStar Publishing Ltd and Mr. Adekola Ganiyu, Chairman, Value Accountancy and Analysis Consult.
However, the leadership of NANS Kwara is pleased to announced Friday 1st, October as the date for preliminary defence of the proposals of the ten finalists that are selected for the second edition of NANS Kwara Enterpreneurship contest in honor of the late AGF Abdulrazaq. The event will be staged at the AGF Abdulrazaq Entrepreneurship Hub, Sango, Ilorin. The preliminary which will see the three best candidates among the ten finalists progressed to the final stage.
On Saturday 2nd, October, the three best candidate will participate at the Grand finale of the contest at the Kwara State Banquet Hall, GRA, Ilorin.
Meanwhile, the leadership of NANS Kwara regrets the reduction of prizes for the finalists. Against the N500,000 earlier proposed for the 1st position, we regret to announce the new prize for the 1st position will be N300,000. While the runner up which was stated to be N300,000 will be reduced to N200,000. Also, the third place participant will go home with N150,000 against N200,000 that was early announced.
Similarly, for the seven consolation prizes, N50,000 will be awarded to each participants against #100,000 which was initially earmarked.
It’s our hope that this new development meets our esteem constituency in good faith. As we hope to have the populace at both venues of the defense comes October.
