The Kwara State High Court, Ilorin on Wednesday slammed Olusegun Olusola, popularly known as Sholyment, with a fine of N150,000.

Sholyment who is a Saraki apologist and footsoldier in the new media had filed a suit bordering on violation of human rights against the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Kwara State Attorney General and Senator Khairat Gwadabe.

Hearing the suit however, the court declared Sholyment’s suit as frivolous and lacking in merit.

The state government had earlier charged Sholyment to court for sharing a false and injurious post on Facebook against the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS), Governor AbdulRazaq and his sister, Senator Khairat Gwadabe.

Reacting to the verdict, Sholyment expressed dissatisfaction with the judgement, disclosing his intention to proceed to the appeal court.
