Former President of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki has failed to clinch the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 general election.
Saraki lost to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar who polled 371 votes in the primaries that held in Abuja on Saturday.
I thank all our friends and supporters across the nation for keying into our vision to provide #RealSolutions and #FixNigeria!

With this development, Saraki’s touted ‘Real Solutions’ has prematurely hit a brick wall. He scored 70 votes, following Rivers State Governor, Nyesome Wike who made 237 votes as the first runner up.
Before the commencement of voting, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal stepped down for Atiku, a move that strengthened the Adamawa politician’s bid for the ticket.
