Harmony Facility Management Services Limited (HFMSL), a subsidiary company of Harmony Holdings Limited has disowned claims being bandied around by some fraudulent individuals that they operate a so called ‘Phantom Computer World’ in one its facilities, Stadium Shopping Complex (Harmony Plaza).
Stadium Shopping Complex, a facility housing Item 7, Airtel Office, among others, is located in Taiwo, Ilorin right beside the corporate office of Harmony Holdings Limited.
Some unscrupulous individuals have been trying hard to defraud people online with the claim that Phantom Computer World has physical presence in Shops 18 – 20 of the Stadium Shopping Complex.
They advertise themselves as a dealer in computers, laptops, gadgets and other accessories, telling people to pay online and get their goods at Harmony Plaza.
The facility management company of Harmony Holdings Limited has however denied having Phantom Computer World as one of its tenants.
According to the facility managers, the claims are totally false, adding Harmony Holdings Limited would not be held responsible for any loss or damages incurred by people transacting with Phantom Computer World.
“This is to bring to the notice of the general public that Harmony Shopping Complex has no office or shops by the name Phantom Computer World, and would not be held responsible for any loss or damages incurred by any individual who has any dealing with them. The information reaching us that the above company has an office in Shops 18 – 20 is false,” the disclaimer read.
The facility managers urged the public to be wary in their transactions online, and even offline in order not to fall victims of fraudulent persons.
Meanwhile, the police are also aware of the matter, as they have commenced necessary investigations to unmask the perpetrators.
