Book Surgeons International holds business summit

The Book Surgeons International hosted business owners and entrepreneurs in Ilorin on Saturday July 24 for the 7th edition of its business summit, The Entrepreneurship Pump with Akolade Oluwatoba.

The event which had in attendance many business owners and entrepreneurs in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital was agog with lectures, practice and stories from invited guests and dignitaries.

The Guest Speaker, Mr Olasupo Abideen spoke on how entrepreneurs can harness global opportunities in their respective businesses.

He took the participants down memory lane and spoke about how he was able to build multiple businesses by leveraging on the opportunities presented by an ever-changing global business environment.

Abideen also advised entrepreneurs to be diligent in their businesses and always be on the lookout for ways to take their businesses to the next level.

Another invited guest, Alhaji Mohammed Ajia, a House of Representatives candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), also shared his business story and how he was able to build a successful venture despite the early challenges he faced.

Other guests include Dr. Yemisi Adeyeye who also shared more insights on life, business and career and how to navigate it all successfully.

For his part, Mr Naheem Uthman, a smartphone profitability coach, took the audience on how to create a comprehensive online portfolio that attracts the right jobs and prospects.

In his remarks, Mr. Akolade Oluwatoba, the CEO of Book Surgeons International expressed thanks to the invited guests for their time and taking the initiative to mentor the next generation of business leaders in Kwara state.

He further explained the testimonies he has received from previous attendees of the event with some taking their businesses to the next level, improved health and others reaching heights they didn’t imagine before in their careers.

Oluwatoba enjoined other mentors and business leaders to support the initiative and help change the narrative of Kwara and Kwara entreprenuers.
