The 14th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has sympathised with the family of Hajiya Muinat Bola Shagaya, over the loss of her mother, Alhaja Sahadat Abdulraheem, at her residence, GRA, Ilorin, on Friday.
Lamido Sanusi, known by the religious title Khalifa Sanusi II, is a spiritual leader in the Tijanniyah Sufi order of Nigeria and member of the Dabo dynasty. He shared his condolences and prayed over the family; “I prayed unto Allah to bestow His blessings, forgiveness and mercy upon the soul of Alhaja Sahadat Abdulraheem who lived her life in worshiping Allah and promoting peace among humanity. It is my belief that the uncommon good traits and characters of Mama shall be inherited by her offsprings.”
“Hajiya Muinat Shagaya has been a great influence in the socioeconomic development of this country. I pray unto Almighty Allah to be with her and her family while I beseech Allah to grant Mallam Muktar Shagaya tremendous success at the polls, come 2023 general elections”, Sanusi prayed.
Earlier, Fadilat Sheikh AbdulKadir Alfa Oba-Solagberu, Sarkin Malamai Ubandoma of Ilorin, welcomed the royal father describing him as an epitome of Knowledge, piety and royalty. He prayed for long life and everlasting grace.
