Former France International, Franck Ribery has announced his retirement from professional football
39-year-old Franck Ribery retires from football after he last featured for Italian Serie A outfit Salernitana where he had 24 league appearances and failed to score a goal.
During an illustrious career, Ribery represented Metz, Galatasaray, Marseille, Bayern Munchen, Fiorentina an Salernitana amongst other teams.
The World cup finalist won One champion league,1 UEFA champions league, 1 UEFA super cup, 1 Clubs World Cup, 9 Bundesliga, 6 DFB Pokal, 5DFL SuperCup, 1 DFL Ligapokal, 1 Turkish Cup and twice won for himself a space in the UEFA Team of the Year in a career that spanned 22 years.
