A Kwara-based sociopolitical organization, Progressive Elites For Good Governance (PEGG), has described Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq as the best man for prosperous Kwara.

The group paid a sensitization visit to the residents of Pakata area, Ubandawaki, on Tuesday to further sing the gospel of the good work of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and why it’s compulsory to return him as Kwara Governor in the 2023 poll.

The convener, Comrade Taofeeq Alada, noted that in all indices of Governance, Gov AA’s administration had done excellently well in setting Kwara on the path of sustainable progress.

“We are here today to give you the message of hope and progress of the state so far since the inception of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s administration as the number one citizen in Kwara.

“Let me reaffirm something to you here today, with scientific proof, in 3 and half years in office, no other past Governors of the state did what AA has done in Education, Infrastructure, workers’ welfare, and human capital development.

“The Present administration will in no distant time commission good Six economically investment driven projects, namely ICT innovation hub, Visual art center, garment factory, International Market Gbugbu among others.

“Today, you see the schools and hospitals being given massive facelifts across 193 wards through the deliberate investment this administration did through collaboration with UBEC; the question is where did past administration put the money; their pockets.

“I’m from Alanamu ward, to make an inference here, all primary schools and hospital in my ward have received Government attention, and eight interlocking access roads were constructed throughout Alanamu ward.

“Today you hear Owo Isowo, Owo Arugbo, Kwaraprenuer, and other interventions for the vulnerable, low capital business owners and further empower the youths of Kwara.”

He further stated that the return of PDP to the helms of affairs in Kwara would only spell doom for Kwara citizens owing to their ugly past with the Kwara people.

“On behalf of PEGG, I want to urge you all not to listen to the lies of those blackmailing the Governor and his administration; non of them wants a better Kwara; they just want to be in a position where they can satisfy themselves with the state resources.

“It would also be a curse to dream of having PDP regime again in Kwara because the party’s main objective is to take back the state to the cursed dark era.

“Let’s mobilize and vote for Tinubu, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, Muktar Shagaya, and other APC candidates in the coming elections,” he concluded.
