Festus Keyamo, spokesperson of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign council has revealed that Peter Obi, standard-bearer of the Labour Party is the key reason why Tinubu will emerge in 2023.
He said this during an interview monitored by The Ravens NG on National television on Monday night.
Reacting to the endorsement declaration for Peter Obi by former president Olusegun Obasanjo and elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, he disclosed that such endorsement happened in 2018 and took no effect during the polls.
“When we say that Peter Obi is the greatest weapon Asiwaju Tinubu has, people do not understand what we are saying. I can say it openly now because it is too late to pull out; Peter Obi is the biggest reason why Ahmed Bola Tinubu would win the 2023 election. On a lighter note, on the day of swearing in of Tinubu as President, I will beg that Peter Obi is given the front seat; he will sit near Tinubu as his best friend”, he concluded.
