NAKSS Unilorin set to hold leadership and entrepreneurship summit

The National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) the University of Ilorin chapter has partnered with other Kwara State tertiary institutions to hold the 2023 Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit.

This much was contained in a press statement signed by the association’s president, Comrade Musbau Alawaye and made available to The Ravens NG.

The association revealed that this year’s theme is “THE QUINTESSENCE” and the conversation will centre on the role of youths in rekindling National development amid Nigeria’s economic challenge.

The Apex Governing body of over 34,000 Kwara state students in the University of Ilorin has partnered with other Kwara State tertiary institutions in holding Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit 2023.

The National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS)
University of Ilorin chapter tagged her Leadership and entrepreneurship summit 2023 “THE QUINTESSENCE” themed ‘The role of youths in rekindling National development amid Nigeria’s economic challenge.’

The summit is designed to engage dignitaries in Kwara state, and Kwara state student leaders from various institutions and to facilitate students-Kwara Icons discourse.

The programme will feature

• Inter-institutions debate competition

• Students-Kwara icons discourse

• Fresher’s orientation

• Student- Entrepreneurs’ discourse

• Launching of quintessence magazine

•Award presentation

Nonetheless, the programme
merriment includes but is not limited to;

• Scholarship opportunities

• Talent show

• Dance comedy and music

• Giveaways and a lot more.

The Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit 2023 is scheduled to hold as stated below:

Date: Wednesday, 18th of January, 2023

Time: 9:00 am prompt

Venue: Faculty of Education Lecture Theater (EDLT), University of Ilorin.

In furtherance, the programme is set to record the attendance of all tertiary institutions in Kwara state and some dignitaries in the state which include; The Emir of Tsonga ( Alh. Dr. Haliru Ndanusa, Amb. Dr. Oluwaseun Owoseni CEO of Kemsan acres global limited, mall. Bolaji Abdullahi Former minister for sport, Alhaji Ibrahim Ajia and many other esteemed personalities and dignitaries across the state.

The President of the Association, Comr. Musbau Alawaye also invited the general public and interested bodies to grace the occasion with their presence as the program is designed to be promising and empowering while serving as a window to discovering and exploring the potential of entrepreneurship.
