Hamza Al-Mustapha, presidential standard-bearer of Action Alliance, AA, has declared that he never stepped down nor did his party adopt Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the presidential election later this week.

While making a feature on Human Rights Radio FM, Abuja, on Tuesday, Al- Mustapha refute the insinuation that he has stepped down from the race to back Atiku, he described such as untrue.

He claimed the declaration from the factional chairman of AA, Mr. Kenneth Udeze who conducted the primaries that produced Al-Mustapha as “scam.”

“The announcement by someone (Udeze) that Action Alliance is supporting Atiku is a scam.

“Action Alliance hasn’t endorsed anybody. I’m still in the race, and if I’m going to lose, I’ll lose pretty well, and if I’m going to win, I’ll win pretty well.”

However, the AA faction which Hamza Al-Mustapha is a presidential candidate of, is the recognized party by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The other faction of the party has its own presidential candidate.
