Ondo State governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu has tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease, The Ravens has learnt.
He disclosed this in a statement made available to our correspondent today.
According to him, “Earlier today, I got confirmation of a positive result for COVID-19. I am not displaying any symptoms.
“I am currently self-isolating and supervised home management will be administered by the wonderful team at our Infectious Disease Hospital.
Other governors that had tested positive so far are: Nasir elRufai of Kaduna, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Muhammad Bala of Bauchi, and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia.
Meanwhile, Akeredolu urged everyone to stay safe, noting that the virus is real.
