IEUDI gets new excos amid strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols

The Ilorin Emirate for Unity and Development Initiatives (IEUDI) has inaugurated new executive members to pilot the affairs of the association for another two years.

The inauguration, which held at the hall of the association in Ilorin, was well attended by prominent indigenes of Ilorin amid strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols as laid down by the NCDC.

Among the attendees were Kwara State Governor, who was represented by his Special Adviser (Political Matters), Alhaji Sadudeen Salaudeen and the Emir of Ilorin, represented by the Magaji of Esinrogunjo.

In his remark, the Governor, speaking through Alhaji Sadudeen Salaudeen urged all sons and daughters of the emirate to be good ambassadors of their various households and protect the culture and heritage of Ilorin jealously, noting that Ilorin is one of the best towns created by God.

While stressing that Ilorin has always been at the forefront in the world map, the Governor tasked the new executives to ensure unity and development as their watchwords so as to take the emirate to the promise land.

Also speaking, the emir of Ilorin, through the Magaji of Esinrogunjo charged the association to bring back the lost glory of the emirate as what is happening in the society now calls for serious concerns.

The emir also urged them to be their brothers’ keepers so as for unity and development to thrive in the society.

The event was also graced by Barrister Razaq Akorede, Chairman, Transition Committee; Alhaji Hamad Olufadi, Chairman, Board of Trustees; and Hajia Nimat Labaika.
