A 23-year-old man, Quadri Babalola, has been sentenced to six months imprisonment by a Magistrates’ Court in Ota, Ogun state on Tuesday, for stealing a N57,000 Infinix phone.
Quadri, whose address was not provided was charged with stealing the Infinix phone belonging to one Benjamin Odeyemi.
Insp. E.O Adaraloye, who serves as the prosecutor, informed the court that the accused committed the offence at No. 52, Plaza Junction, Sango Ota, on February 28 at around 2:30pm.
The prosecutor said the offence go against the Ogun 2006, Criminal Code Law, Section 390.
