A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun local government, Engineer Shakiru Ajadi has commiserated with the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq over the death of his father, Alhaji AbdulGaniy Folorunsho AbdulRasaq.
In his condolence message, Shakiru urged the AbdulRazaq family and Kwarans to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived an exemplary life of service and outstanding achievements.
“The death of AGF came to me as a rude shock and touched my heart terribly,” Ajadi said in a statement.
“Baba was an accomplished lawyer, exemplary leader, and an elder statesman who played significant role toward the development of Kwara state, and Nigeria at large,” he added.
Shakiru prayed that God grants AGF Aljanat Firdaus and gives the family fortitude to bear the loss.
“May God forgive his sins, grant him Aljanat and also give AbdulRasaq’s family, the emir of Ilorin and people of Kwara state the fortitude to bear the loss,” the statement concluded.
