– Orders Assembly to swear-in Agboola after serial adamance

– Slams Elewu with heavy fines

An Appellate Court sitting in Ilorin on Tuesday, has knocked out a motion filed by Hassan Azeez Elewu, ruling that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had no candidate in the long concluded election.

Elewu had earlier been sacked by a court ruling, which he appealed.

In its ruling today, however, the Court of Appeal dismissed Elewu’s motion, slamming him with the sum of N200,000, as it ordered him to return all the salaries and allowances he has collected.

The court also mandated that Hon. Agboola of the PDP be admitted and sworn in as the duly elected member of the House, representing the people of Ilorin South.
