IN PICTURES: Governor AbdulRazaq supervises COVID-19 protocols violation at party meeting

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq today supervised a flagrant violation of COVID-19 protocols by party faithful apologetic to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in a meeting at Alanamu ward, Ilorin West.

Participants at the meeting huddled and muddled together with no iota of regard for social distancing policy.

Most of them were not using the face masks. This is despite stern warning issued by the government to the people not to appear in the public without face masks, threatening heavy sanctions.

This is also happening while the government has refused to reopen schools — even when some state governments have approved the partial reopening of schools — citing the continued existence of coronavirus in the state.

With the recent development however, many residents have continued to confirm their positions that the government is just hyping the COVID-19 pandemic as they fail to lead by example.
