• Tell him to use personal handle to ventilate grouses on party affairs
Nigerian netizens have continued to talk down on the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammad over what they described as flagrant abuse of the official Twitter handle of the ministry.
The official Twitter handle of the ministry (@fmicnigeria) was today used to post party affairs and the grouses of the Minister who is locked in a supremacy battle with the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over the leadership of the state chapter of the party.
Alhaji Lai Muhammad, who many say does not have substantial electoral value, passed a vote of no confidence on the ongoing revalidation/registration process of Kwara APC, suing for its outright cancellation.
The Minister was said to have through some of his cronies instituted a law suit where he prayed for the halt of the revalidation/registration process, even after the party had warned members from toeing such path and ordering that all pending cases in relation to the party be withdrawn late last year.
Commenting on the abuse of the official Twitter handle of the ministry, Nwo-Diali PH observed that the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture’s Twitter handle does not belong to the Minister, telling him to use his personal Twitter handle to discuss party affairs and ventilate his grouses.
Many others are of the view that the action is low, while Gbenga Taiwo (Esq) categorically said it is uncivil.
