Musa made second debut for Kano Pillars in 5-2 victory over Dabo Babes

Former Leicester city and Kano Pillars FC’s forward, Ahmed Musa has made his first debut since after he rejoined the club in 5-2 victory over Nationwide League side, Dabo Babes in a friendly match played at the Bukavu Barrack on Thursday evening.

The super Eagles captain was involved in the first 45 minutes of the encounter when the Mask Gida leads by 2 goals to nil into the break.

Acting Technical Director, Ibrahim A. Musa, replaced every players who played the first half of the game including Ahmed Musa with another set of players.

The Aiteo cup holders went on to scored three more goals, while Dabo babes pull two late goals back to put themselves back on the card, but it wasn’t enough as the game ended 5-2 in favor of Kano Pillars.

The coach of Kano Pillars told reporters after the match that the match was part of preparations for the second part of Nigeria Professional Football League 2020/21 season which is expected to start by 9th of May 2021.

Ibrahim also believes that such matches will keep his side in best shape and it will also serve as an integration process for Ahmed Musa who has not played in the league for a while.

Kano Pillars will hope to play more warm up matches, as the gaffer laud the spirit and commitment of Dabo Babes throughout the match.
