Kwara Poly students can write exams with or without tuition payment: Gov AbdulRazaq

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has declared that Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin students can write their examinations whether or not they have paid their tuition fees.

The Governor directed authorities of the institution to put this into consideration in view of the economic situation of the country that has turned many households cash-strapped.

A statement by Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Barrister Senior Ibrahim Suleiman made this development known to the public.

AbdulRazaq meanwhile urged the students to reciprocate the kind gesture by paying promptly in the later time.

“His Excellency has looked into appeals by students of the Kwara State Polytechnic to be allowed to write their examinations while they pay up their tuition fees at a later date. The Governor has graciously granted this request in full appreciation of the extant economic situation in the country. He however appeals to the affected students to reciprocate this goodwill by ensuring prompt payment of their fees which are critical to effective running of the institution.

“The Governor wishes all the students superlative performances in their studies, and reassures all stakeholders of government’s continuous support for the Polytechnic community and other educational institutions in the state,” the statement read.
