Kwara State House of Assembly has slated Monday, June 28 for public hearing on Kwara State Public Accounts Audit Bill 2021.
Known for short as Audit Bill, it was forwarded recently to the Assembly by the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and has since passed second reading in the House.
A statement by the Clerk to the House, Hajia Halima Jummai Kperogi invited the general public to the public hearing on the bill which will take place at Committee Room 213, Kwara State House of Assembly Complex, Ilorin by 10am.
“Invited Stakeholders and General Public are to submit (10) hard/soft copies of their position papers on the Bill to the Public Accounts Committee Clerk on or before 28th June, 2021. Your submission can also be forwarded to [email protected] and visit www.kwha.gov.ng for more information,” according to the statement.
“Stakeholders and General Public are enjoined to be punctual, please,” it added.
