Luis Enrique has been relieved of his position as Spanish national team coach. Leaders of the Spanish Federation, Luis Rubiales and José Francisco Molina took the decision and it was revealed this Thursday.
The decision to quit his role as Spain’s team head coach came after the team lost in the round 16 tie of the ongoing world cup in a penalty shootout against Morocco when the game had ended 0-0 after extra time.
