A fire outbreak which occured on Monday destroyed good worth of N11.5m in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The incident happened at Lubcon Road, Odota area, and five container shops out of 15 container shops in the location were burnt.
Hassan Adekunle, spokesman of the state fire service confirmed the fire incident to have occured at about 05:67hrs.
A Bet9ja, Bukatariat, Nairabet, provision store and welder shop are the affected containers during the outbreak.
He further confirmed that a private citizen quickly contacted the fire brigade through a telephone call to the scene for adequate control of the situation.
Hassan said the quick intervention by the firemen arrested the situation and prevented further damage.
