Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential flag bearer has said all plan to restructure Nigeria is completed and ready.
He also promised that the country would have been restructured within six months of his ascension to the presidential seat.
The former Vice president made the revelation while speaking with newsmen at the PDP Presidential Diaspora Campaign Grand Finale in Abuja.
Okwesilieze Nwodo, former National Chairman of the party and also the Deputy Director, Research and Strategy, PDP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), represented Atiku at the event, disclosed that proper efforts and research to restructure the country had been concluded.
Atiku further stressed that the country would be prosperous when each region control its natural resources.
“Talking about restructuring by Executive Order, in the first six months, this country will not be what you are seeing today.
“This has been worked out and I’m just waiting to be sworn in on May 29 and the plans will be rolled out,” he said.
