President Muhammad Buhari has debunked claims that he’s not ready to handover to the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The President revealed that the report is fake and unfounded.
According to a statement by the President’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, he noted that all preparations are in top gear for the handover.
He further revealed that the handover committee was a constitution of government representatives and that of the President, Bola Tinubu.
“The Presidency wishes to denounce as outrageous and fake, and condemns the fake news brigade for attributing a false quote to President Muhammadu Buhari and circulating it.
“How can you vigorously campaign for somebody, vote for him and then say you won’t hand over to him? This beggars belief.” The statement reads.
The statement said the Daura community is preparing to receive Buhari back after May 29.
