Shagaya celebrates teacher’s day, vows to give support

The honorable representing Asa/Ilorin West constituency of Kwara at the green chamber, Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, has felicitated teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s day.

This was contained in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen on Thursday. He stated that he would work tirelessly to help teachers in his capacity.

The statement reads in full; “Dear Teachers, Happy Teachers Day! I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your tireless efforts in educating our youth. You work tirelessly to educate, inspire, and guide the next generation. You are the unsung heroes of our society, and your dedication and commitment are greatly appreciated. You have a difficult and often thankless job, and yet you show up every day to make a difference in the lives of our nation’s children.

“I am honored to serve as the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Committee on Basic Education, and I will work tirelessly to promote quality education and support teachers and students in my capacity. I am committed to ensuring that all children have access to a high-quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his incredible dedication to improving education in Kwara State, particularly at the basic level. I am impressed by the governor’s efforts to invest in our education system, and I believe this will have a tremendous impact on the future of our state. The National Assembly members would have a closer working relationship with the state to further enhance our efforts in this important area. I am confident that by working together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our children and youth.”
