Kwara APC: Ward places AbdulRazaq’s Commissioner, others on suspension


A prominent member of Governor AbdulRazaq’s cabinet, who is the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms Adenike Oshatimehin-Afolabi has been slammed with a suspension by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ora ward of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State over what was described as “anti-party activities”.

In a statement made available to The Ravens, the Commissioner was suspended after an agreed resolution signed by the Chairman, Taofeeq Bolajoki Kareem; Vice-chairman, Ezekiel Owolabi; Women leader, Mrs Mariam Moses; and other executive members and stakeholders.

According to the statement, the commissioner was suspended by the party for taking part in “anti-party activities detrimental to the progress and co-existence of the party members in Ora ward, in particular, Ifelodun LGA and State.”

Meanwhile, other members placed on suspension by the party are Dr Ade Afolabi, Mr Segun Ogunsola, and Mr Yinusa Afolayan.
