Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has lost his father, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Folorunsho AbdulRazaq SAN in the wee hours of Saturday, July, 25.
The late AbdulRazaq was the first lawyer from the Northern Nigeria. He later served as Attorney-General of the Federation.
The late elderly statesman is aged 93, according to a statement from the family signed by Dr Alimi AbdulRazaq.
The deceased was, until his death, the Mutawali of Ilorin, Tafida of Zazzau and Chairman, Nigerian Body of Benchers.
He is survived by his 90-year-old wife, Alhaja Raliat AbdulRazaq, illustrious children (including incumbent Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq), and grandchildren.
