A Kwara-based Non-Governmental Organisation, Saving Dreams Foundation (SDF), has concluded arrangements to stage a spelling contest in honour of former Minister for Sports and Youths, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.
Tagged, “1st Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi Spelling Championship”, participants would be drawn from various public secondary schools in Kwara State.
The spelling bee, scheduled to hold between August 28 and September 4, will take place at the Kwara State Library.
A widely circulated flyer for the event shows that there are two categories: Junior and Senior respectively.
A winner and three runner-ups would emerge from each of the two categories.
