Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Harmony Holdings Limited, Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari on the occasion of his 25th anniversary on the throne of his forebears.
Mallam Abdulmajeed joined family members, indigenes and friends of Ilorin Emirate in felicitating with the first class monarch on the milestone, describing him as a peace maker, pace setter and father of all.
He said, “I wish to, on behalf of the management and staff of the Harmony Holdings Limited and her subsidiaries, congratulate our father, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari on the occasion of his silver jubilee on the throne of his great ancestors.
“This is a great landmark in the life of our royal father and indeed in the history of Ilorin Emirate. I am particularly glad to witness this momentous period. Our father has contributed significantly to socio-economic development and peaceful co-existence in Ilorin, the state capital, Kwara State at large and even beyond.
“It is noteworthy to state that his position as the Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Council has been instrumental to the enduring peace, harmony and tranquility that we have witnessed in Kwara State over the years.
“I hereby send my heartfelt felicitations to him and the entire Ilorin Emirate. I also want to appreciate him for his roles and efforts so far in keeping the Emirate high on the trajectory of development, essentially with his quality and purposeful leadership. Our Emir is, indeed, a peace maker, pace setter and father of all.”
The Harmony Holdings boss recalled that the highly revered king had reached a fulfilling point of his career as Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division before he was chosen to serve Ilorin Emirate as the 11th Emir in 1995.
The GMD/CEO prayed that Allah will spare the life of the monarch to witness more anniversaries in sound health and wealth, while urging the good people of the Emirate and the state at large to continue to offer him the needed support and solidarity.
