Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has joined other illustrious sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate to celebrate with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari (CFR) who turned 25 years on the throne of his ancestors.
Oloriegbe, in his congratulatory message, described the reign of the revered monarch as a pacesetter in the anal of Ilorin history praying to God almighty to grant the retired justice more outstanding years on the throne.
“Today marks exactly 25th years since the ascension of our father to the throne of Sheikh Alimi as the 11th Emir of the ancient city of Ilorin.
“So far so good, it has been 25 years of enviable achievements for the sons and daughters of Ilorin whilst our town continue to grow from height to height in terms of human and infrastructures developments. Verily, the reign of our amiable father would go down in history as a pacesetter considering the number of unprecedented accomplishments we have recorded thus far.
He prayed to almighty Allah for His infinite grace and mercy upon the emir and the people of Ilorin emirate at large.
“I pray Allah to grant His Royal Highness more outstanding years in service to the people of Ilorin Emirate. Allah ya ja Zamani Mai Martaba,” Oloriegbe prayed.
