Saliu Mustapha mourns Emir of Lafiagi

Chairman, Saliu Mustapha Foundation, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, has sympathized with the family and citizens of the late Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Sa’adu Kawu Haliru OFR, who was pronounced dead on Thursday after an enduring illness.

The All Progressives Chairman (APC) chairman hopeful described the death of the first class Emir, who died at age 86, as one death too many.

In a statement circulated amongst newsmen in Ilorin, Mallam Mustapha said, “Alhaji Sa’ad was a cosmopolitan Emir. He lived his life as a father to all Kwarans. His ability to intercede in perpetual issue is what will be sorely missed.

” This is a death that is one too many. I pray the Almighty gives his family, indigenes of Lafiagi and Kwara state as a whole, the fortitude to bear the colossal loss. May the departed be blessed with Aljannah fridaus by Allah SWT. Amin,” the statement read.
