Applicants who emerged successful in Kwapreneurs, an entrepreneurial initiative of Kwara State Government, will get their cheques for the non-interest loans on Wednesday, July 14.
The cheques which are of varying amounts will be presented to 170 successful young entrepreneurs by the Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
“Loans to the tune of N101,450,000 in line with the recommendation of the committee will be disbursed with at least five outstanding businesses receiving the maximum category amount of N3,000,000 each,” a statement posted on the official Facebook page of Kwara State Social Investment Programmes (KWASSIP) read.
The statement also explained that the successful applicants have completed a round of entrepreneurial training by Fidelity Bank and a Microsoft virtual training by Wootlab Innovations on business management, growth and business sustainability amongst others to equip them with knowledge and skills to expand their businesses.
