Shagaya empowers 800 constituents

All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Ilorin West/Asa Federal House of Representatives, Mall. Muktar Tolani Shagaya has empowered eight hundred petty traders, artisans, widows, women and youths in his constituency.

The program tagged Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Intervention was held on Saturday, 2nd of July, 2022, at Mandate Hall, Adeta Area, Ilorin.

Mall. Muktar Tolani Shagaya in his address disclosed that the empowerment does not start today, it has been initiated over half a decade and it is deliberately fashioned out to better the lives of our people.

He noted that, “it is the responsibility of leaders and well-to-do members of society to give hope, optimism, support, and encourage business owners, indigents, widows, women and youth to make them function in their choice of livelihood. To this end, the sum of #20,000 would be given to 800 beneficiaries throughout Ilorin West/Asa Constituency”.

“I take this opportunity to urge all eligible voters who are yet to obtain their Permanent Voters Card to troop out en mass and ensure they’re well registered as this is the only tool to secure a prosperous Kwara and Nigeria”, Muktar added.

The event was graced by notable personalities among which the Chairman, Salman Shagaya Foundation, Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya; Kwara APC Stalwart, Barr. Kunle Sulaiman; Kwara Commissioner, National Population Commission, Hon. Rasaq Gidado; APC Candidate for Alanamu/Ajikobi Constituency, Alhaja Tundun Babatunde; Kwara State Commissioner Nominee, Amb. Ibrahim Akaje and a host of others.
