The Saliu Mustapha Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in Ilorin, Kwara State in Nigeria. The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged individuals and communities, particularly orphans and other vulnerable groups.

Recently, the foundation announced a scholarship program for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC) for orphans. The application process took place on the foundation’s website and attracted a large number of candidates – a total of 800 applicants applied for the scholarship, which was originally intended to benefit 200 students.

However, in a display of generosity and kindness, the foundation’s chairman and founder, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, decided to increase the number of scholarship slots to 300 in order to benefit more candidates. Each of the selected students has been notified of their acceptance into the program and will receive payment for their examination fees directly to their schools, rather than being given individual payments.

This scholarship program is just one of many initiatives that the Saliu Mustapha Foundation has undertaken over the past decade. The organization has also provided support for students to register for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams and has implemented various empowerment schemes to help people improve their circumstances and achieve greater self-sufficiency.

Mallam Saliu Mustapha, who is also the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Kwara Central, has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving his community and making a positive difference in the lives of those in need. The Saliu Mustapha Foundation is a valuable resource for those seeking support and opportunities to improve their lives and achieve their goals.
