Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has disclosed that Governor Godwin Obaseki, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the coming Edo gubernatorial elections, does not constitute a threat in the race.

Oshiomhole said this while fielding questions during an interview on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics.

His words: “How can he be a threat? A man who is not even eligible to contest elections? How can a snail be a threat in a race where tigers are involved?,” he queried.

The former APC chairman reiterated his confidence in the party’s governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu’s ability to lead the state on the path of progressive development if elected in the September 19 governorship election.

The governorship election in Edo State will hold on September 19th, 2020 with Obaseki and Ize-Iyamu of the APC the leading candidates for the poll.
