Modibbo-Kawu becomes Kwara’s new Education Commissioner

Hajiah Sa’adatu Modibbo-Kawu has been appointed new Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development in Kwara State.

Modibbo-Kawu who hails from Ilorin South had served as Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology in the dissolved cabinet of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, a position now occupied by Bar. Senior Sulyman.

In a social media post today, she thanked the Kwara Governor for the confidence reposed in her through the appointment, noting she had always loved work with kids.

“Another opportunity to serve. I thank Almighty Allah for the opportunity to be alive. I want to thank the people’s governor, HE AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his confidence in me. I have always loved to work with kids alongside human capital development.

“I pray for Allah’s grace and wisdom to serve diligently and effectively in this new assignment. This assignment needs your support and prayers just like you’ve always done for this administration,” the post read.

The office Kawu now holds was previously occupied by Hajiah Fatimah Ahmed Bisola.
